Who we are

DelhiMasterPlan2047.com operates delhimasterplan2047.com. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” mean DelhiMasterPlan2047.com. Our registered address is Farm @ Garhi Rindhala, Distt. Kanjhawla, New Delhi 110081.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through this website. If you are the person the data is about, the Act calls you the Data Principal.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a consultation or contact us, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your land, your objective or your situation. You decide how much of that last part to share. We ask only for what we need in order to respond usefully.

Information collected automatically. Our website and our analytics provider record your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you visited, how long you spent on them, and the site or search that brought you here. This is aggregate traffic measurement, not surveillance of you as an individual.

Khasra map activity. On our khasra map, our own server records how the page is used: the villages and khasra numbers you search for or tap, the map layers you switch on or off, how far you zoom in, how long you hold still over a particular area, how far you scroll and how long you actively use the page, together with your browser, device type, screen size, language and the site that referred you. We do not store your IP address; we keep only a one-way scrambled version of it so we can count unique visitors. No cookies are used for this, and it is switched off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Where the map is being looked at. While you hold still on the map we add one count to a grid square of roughly 500 metres, so we can see which areas need mapping next. These squares are totals for a whole day across everyone who visited. They carry no identifier, are never tied back to a visit, and cannot be traced to you.

Faults and speed. If the map breaks in your browser we record the error message and the file it came from, and we record how quickly the page and the map became usable. We use this to fix the map, and we delete it after 30 days.

This record is not linked to your name unless you both send us an enquiry and tick the separate optional box on the enquiry form asking us to look at what you viewed. That box is not required, and leaving it unticked has no effect on the reply you get. If you leave it unticked we do not join your enquiry to your map activity at all.

Switching it off. There is an Anonymous usage: on/off switch at the foot of the map page. Turning it off stops all of the above on that device and deletes what the current visit has already recorded. Nothing is lost by doing so — the map works exactly the same.

Your WhatsApp number on the map, and what you save there. To unlock the full khasra grid and road layers on the khasra map we ask for your WhatsApp number, with your consent; a second, optional box lets us message you with updates for your area. If you use “Buy or sell this land?” on a khasra, we receive your name, number, the village and khasra, whether you want to buy or sell, and any message — we treat it like an enquiry. If you use “Save this khasra”, we store which khasras you saved, the label you chose (my land, interested to buy, just watching) and any note, linked to your WhatsApp number, and we can see them so that we can help you with that land. No other visitor can see your saved khasras; they show only on the device where you saved them. You can remove any of them on the map at any time, and asking us to erase your number deletes them all.

What we do not collect. We do not ask for and do not want your Aadhaar number, PAN, bank details, passwords, or copies of title documents through this website. If a form on any page appears to ask for these, do not fill it in, and tell us immediately at support@delhimasterplan2047.com — it is not ours.

Why we process it, and on what basis

We process your personal data for these purposes and no others:

  • To respond to your enquiry and arrange a consultation
  • To carry out the advisory work you engage us for
  • To keep records of advice given, which professional prudence and any applicable limitation period require
  • To understand which pages are useful, so that we can write better ones
  • To comply with law, including any lawful demand from a court or authority

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit a form having read this notice, except where processing is for a legitimate use specified in the Act — chiefly compliance with law or with a judgment.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We do not rent it, trade it, or hand it to marketing lists. We have no advertising relationships.

We share it only:

  • With Data Processors who run our infrastructure — our website host, our email provider and our analytics provider — under contract, and only to the extent they need it to provide the service
  • With professional advisers, such as an advocate, a surveyor or a chartered accountant, where your engagement requires it and you have asked or agreed
  • Where law compels it

We will not introduce you to a broker, developer or seller, or pass your details to one, unless you specifically ask us to.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements: 24 months from last contact, after which they are deleted.

Client records: for the duration of the engagement and 8 years after it ends, reflecting the limitation period for professional claims. Advice on a land transaction may need to be evidenced years later. That is the reason for the length, not a preference for keeping things.

Saved khasras: until you remove them on the map or ask us to erase your number. Buy or sell requests: as enquiries, 24 months from last contact.

Khasra map activity: 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically, unless it is attached to an enquiry.

The scrambled visitor code that lets us count unique visitors: 6 months, after which it is stripped out and only the counts remain.

Faults and page-speed measurements: 30 days.

Map attention squares: kept indefinitely. They are day totals for a 500-metre square with nothing attached to them, so there is no personal data in them to erase.

Privacy requests and our record of how we answered them: 3 years, as evidence that we complied.

Analytics data: per our analytics provider's retention setting, currently 14 months.

Your rights

The Digital Personal Data Protection Act gives you the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we have done with it
  • Correct data that is inaccurate, and complete data that is incomplete
  • Erase your personal data where we no longer need it for the purpose it was collected for
  • Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated
  • Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
  • Raise a grievance with us before approaching the Data Protection Board

Withdrawing consent stops future processing. It does not make past processing unlawful, and it does not require us to destroy records we are obliged to keep by law.

Map activity you can switch off yourself, immediately. The Anonymous usage: on/off switch at the foot of the map page is a full withdrawal for that device: it stops the recording and deletes what the current visit has captured. No request, no waiting.

For anything held against your name or phone number — to see it, correct it or have it erased — write to Natscha at support@delhimasterplan2047.com. We will ask you to confirm your identity first, usually by answering a call back on the number you gave us, because handing your record to someone claiming to be you would be the very leak this policy exists to prevent. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with how we deal with a grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to enquiry data to people who need it, and keep our platforms patched. No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach affects your personal data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.

Children

This website is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us at support@delhimasterplan2047.com and we will delete it.

Our guides link to DDA, Gazette and other government sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we neither control nor endorse.

Changes

We will post any change on this page and update the date shown above. Material changes affecting how we use your data will be notified to anyone whose data we hold.
